How many places have you lived in your life?
How are you counting?
States? Five. Utah, New Jersey, California, Arizona, Washington state.
Cities? Eight. Bluffdale, Unknown, Alpine, Torrence, Tucson, Carlsbad, Copalis Beach, Salt Lake City.
Houses? Thirteen. Two in Tucson, two in Carlsbad, four in Salt Lake city.
And that's not counting my two year stay over in Germany :)
What's your morning beverage of choice? Coffee, tea, juice? Homemade or store-bought?
I'm going to have to go with Ocean Spray Ruby Red juice. It's not just my favorite drink in the morning, it's my all around favorite anytime. Morning, evening or middle of the night, it really doesn't matter to me. Sweet and sour in just the right proportion. I think about the only time that Ruby Red isn't my first choice is right after I brush my teeth, and even then I'll choose it over just about anything else anyway.
What do you usually do on Sunday?
Each Sunday I'll attend Church. Right now, the services start at 9am and go until noon. My wife, Emily, and I are leaders in the Nursery, so we get to spend two hours with the children of the Ward. It's very enjoyable, because I love playing with children so much, but it can be quite a challenge as well.
My daughter, Rachel, is turning three so she is in there along with her friend from across the street, Stratton. Everything goes great until a couple of the kids all show up and need naps. If there are one or two who are a little cranky, it's fine. But managing a group of 8 toddlers when three of them are causing trouble can be quite a work out.
After Church, we'll come home and have a simple lunch, and I'll take a nap. I have to admit that taking a nap is my all time favorite Sunday activity. Nothing quite like it to catch up from the week's hectic schedule. Though my wife doesn't always like it because I have a tendency to wake up grouchy :)
Every other week we go to my wife's parent's house to visit. We'll have dinner and talk and maybe watch a good show together.
